Think this only happens if Hojbjerg goes.
I've said all along that if there is a better fit for the squad than PEH, then make it happen. PEH is a good player, but is just wasted in this system. And the system doesn't work with him in it, either. Better for all parties for him to move on and a better suited replacement to come in.

Has he been playing much? I haven't watched much of any Championship, but I don't recall seeing him against Chelsea, although I admittedly wasn't really paying attention to the match.

Not at all, played 130-135ish minutes over two games late November and early December. Got hurt again between those two games but supposedly healthy now. Might actually get more minutes at LFC with their injuries

Some more info about the Dragusin saga, Milan was also in the race, and the fact that Bayern entered the race at the last minute made Spurs DOUBLE the salary they offered him, which is still low for Premier League standards (3 mil/year). Bayern offered 4.5/5 million/year, but he wanted Premier.

I am very surprised how Tottenham have no issue handing out so little wages to player in demand but Man United have to overpay the salary significantly for every player they sign. Quite comical to be honest, maybe this is a London thing, not sure.

I think reputation means a lot here.

Players know that United will pay silly wages so they might as well demand them.

Meanwhile Spurs are never gonna give a guy like that 150k/week.

Same reason that United end up overpaying for guys and why their names get thrown in so many transfers. Teams know they’ll pay silly prices, so might as well have their name involved to try to up the bidding.

I know but I also believe that Tottenham is the only club in the EPL that has that low of % wages/total revenues like significantly lower too, like something around 50% compared to some clubs at 75%+ and even some close to 100%.

Quite an achievement in pro sports.

Spurs get 25% coming if he is sold, Clarke has already doubled Grealish's best goal total in the Championship this season with 11

Seems this stance had changed now with Sir Jim coming into the picture, what with United trying to get Varane to sign an extension for a smaller salary.

This is probably gonna be a disappointment for everyone involved. Sancho hasn't played in so long that I Don't think he'll be in form to get playing time over Dortmund's wingers soon, even if he had a higher upside. Although if Malen leaves that makes his job at least a bit easier.

Sale of Eric Dier pays Dragusin's salary for the year as well LOL

Honestly, I wish Dier all the best. He had ups and downs with Spurs. His biggest issue was awareness and a tendency to switch off, leaving him way out of position without the pace to make up for it. I sincerely hope they go and win the CL this year.

Kinda surprised (unless I missed it), but Manchester City has laid claim to one of "my" kids (been a river fan for all of my 46.9 years). Caludio Echeverri. Let me tell you... he might not be the next Messi, but I'd wager he ends up not too far off the mark. Holy hell can this kid play.

The other U18 to watch is Augustin Ruberto, also from my club. Just a stellar young talent.

I'll tell ya, players between 16-25 look pretty damn bright for Argentina right now. Dare I say we're coming up on maaaaaaaaybe a bit of a "golden generation". Probably the best crop of young talent since the late 90's, early 2k's.
