If he still healthy, we will pay whatever market value is at the timeEven money his next deal makes him the highest paid QB in history.
And he'll be worth it.

He’s not taking that job right now IMO….someday though. I just can’t see them working it out to guarantee his sons will be there as he wants.Prime's full quote:
Predict his next move at your own risk.
Kirk Cousins just called. He’d like a word about this topic?I call skeptical on all this, but if true, there's several angles. One is, Ben Johnson is dumber than his play calling would indicate and isn't HC material at all. Two is, AP may have turned the plane around, but let it slip that Ben canceled the interview (which still may be true) so that it wouldn't slip out that A) we canceled on him and B) we ARE drafting a QB. Which would be brilliant media manipulation, if in fact true. Let BJ look like the douche for canceling on us, let the world think AP didn't get his guy, who cares. He didn't trash BJ when he could have, he took the high road instead and kept his draft plans under wraps, (even while Doug Williams was announcing the worst kept secret on Earth to the TV crews).
If this has any truth, it probably went down like this:
BJ: I want to run with Sam Howell
AP: We're drafting a QB at 2
BJ: Well then this isn't the team for me
AP: Fine, we'll agree to move on, hey pilot, turn this bitch around.
Media hears that Ben canceled on us, but that's because we weren't handing him the GM keys also.
You said "top guys" but we're talking about Dak, who is just a "better than average" guy.
Yeah but yeah? Let them implode together. And trade up to get young S Sanders. Oh….please??!!?!?.Man I would loooooove that side show.
The real problems would seem to be that he’s probably only going to go now to coach Shadeur (and the Cowboys already have a QB) and are probably too far back at 12 to be able to afford to trade up to be sure and draft him.
I just can’t see how Jerry and him would coexist and have success.
Last week when they were having that MVP debate between Lamar and Allen.
I was like there’s one player that took a team from four wins to 12
And now has a playoff win
Tell me a more valuable player this season

Cases can be made for Allen, Jackson and Barkley for the Eagles, but personallyLast week when they were having that MVP debate between Lamar and Allen.

Boy, you obviously haven't seen the Lions play. When Montgomery and Gibbs are both healthy and on their game, the Lions O is virtually unstoppable. They complement each other perfectly: Montgomery is the bruising, punishing back who fights for every yard, while Gibbs is the swift jack-rabbit who runs circles around people. A healthy Montgomery, in tandem with Gibbs, is FAR more valuable to the Lions than a healthy Hutch. Its gives them a dimension other teams in the league simply don't have.Montgomery back is not great for us, but it's a lot better than someone like hutchinson being back.

Yeah, they're a tough 1-2 punch. The old Thunder & Lightning routine.
Not saying we're going to lose for sure but this is definitely making things harder.
