I really don’t get the love fest with Sainristil. Nothing special in coverage, I’ve seen him miss a few tackles like that last TD. Maybe he will be something ultimately but I’m waiting to see.

The defense has been better in the first halves but has been soft and getting shredded in the second halves. Pass rush disappears and the DBs give cushions in front of the 1st down markers.

Overwhelmed at times as a full blown rookie CB, but looks really solid in a nickel role. There's potential there. We shall see where it goes. BSJ is the guy I think I'm officially quitting on.

It's unbelievable how casual and easy he makes everything look. As a rookie. This doesn't happen, and yet here we are.

And he's not even doing the "I'm a freak athlete who will do freak things" deal that drives so many flashes in the pan until defenses figure out how to stop their main trick. This guy is putting in work to learn defenses and dissecting them. He isn't relying on talent around him to bail him out, he throws to everyone; are you open? Are you the thing the defense has neglected a bit? Great, here's the ball, whoever you are.

Also, Diyami Brown is starting to show some swagger and confidence. Starting to look like the guy who got himself drafted when he gets the ball.

Another game, another victory, and another favorite Jayden throw of the week.

@ :57 mark
(3:12 of 2nd vid)

Jayden hits Noah Brown on a deep crosser. Layers it beautifully over the head of the LB and the other defender. The timing, touch, and ball placement *chef’s kiss*

EDIT: Added another video that hopefully isn’t blocked by the NFL. Around 3:12 mark.

Woah, not sure if anyone here is a member but I think the Extremeskins forum may be down for good

"TK, the top moderator on the forum, posted the attached tweet stating that the Commanders apparently disconnected their access to the server and changed the dns (no idea what that means) and although he's tried to contact them his efforts, to this point, have been completely fruitless."

They need to find a way to get the ball in his hands more. That dude is seriously great at breaking tackles and moving through traffic.

I cant imagine the coaches aren't seeing what we're seeing. Maybe they're saving those plays for crucial moments? Otherwise I don't get it.

HF and ES are my two major forums, thankfully this one is still up but not looking good for ES. Wish they'd be more transparent on what happened with ES, no statement from the team on it

Critique the mods at ES but it was a fine place for discussion and the tailgate was always good before commanders games. Have been a loyal tailgate consumer at the ES tailgate since around 2015

Not going to lie, did not feel good about this game. Through Jayden all things are possible.

I never spent any time on ES but spent a lot of time on CPND. Is that still a thing?

I haven't been on a football message board in probably a decade. Was ES the only Commanders board still active?

They tried to make Jones look great (though to my chagrin, the guy IS actually starting to make real NFL QB plays in general. I like him more as a punchline) but JD is actually great.

Watching the D evolve has been cool. The D didn't change anything ever at all over years with JDR. This team is now really, really dedicated to shitting on plays at the line of scrimmage. Screens? Blown up. Runs? Routinely slammed at the line. They seem to be selling out to take away the short game. It gives up long plays, but...those were being given up anyway. So what's the difference?

Hell, this was what I was dying to see JDR do for a very long time. We don't have the pass coverage skill. Why the hell were we dropping everything back to cover until it broke? Being good at something is better at being bad at everything.

CPND is still a thing. But barely surviving at this point. At one point that place had some of the most knowledgeable football fans.

That’s a shame about ES. I used to be active on there for years. But, sometime around the RG3->Cousins debates, it just became unbearable for me.

The Commanders subreddit is ok. You can get news and relevant social media quickly. However, it seems like a lot of younger people and kids (like most of Reddit).

I kinda didn't understand the Giants strategy. They easily rammed the ball through the middle of the Commanders D-line on that first drive, but for some reason they didn't just keep going back to it - or at least not as much as I had feared.

At one point they threw a screen pass for a 5 yard loss and before the snap I was thinking please don't run it up the middle again.

I think Arizona also made those same sorts of decisions.

Yeah there were some extremely smart people on that board. And one dude was a cap genius. I think PCinOz was his username and he might actually be on Twitter.

I was friends with one of the mods over there as her son was a Navy grad. She’s a great person and super knowledgeable on sports, I tried bringing her over here but no dice… yet.

BSJ has been asked to cover the WR1 1 on 1 quite a bit. Hes a decent outside corner .. C+/B- tier guy, our best corner by a good margin.

Mike S .. hes solid, natural slot, that was the first missed tackle ive seen from him

Both of these 3rd rounders are good picks imo .. not world beaters but solid players

As soon as nabers rookie contract is up, all efforts need to be made to get these two back together. Mclaurin will be slowing down by then

The months of back and forth leading up to the draft between the maye side and daniels side was a sight to behold on ES

Jayden (and thus the offense) is a master of efficiency. High completion % good run game and forging the team to leads... targets are just not going to happen. Heck Terry on a top offense in the league is 17th in targets and many teams have had byes/injuries.

Noah has taken hold of the #2 preferred wideout target for 5. He has 31 targets good for 72nd in the league which only 4 per game. Nothing against Dyami but to your point seeing Dyami making plays deep across the middle and breaking tackles did not go unnoticed. I did not have that on my bingo card. He's good for 2 targets a game but when we need him for more he looks more than ready. Luke had been wide open on many plays early in the year. He can take on more. We just don't need them too.

es.hfboards.com to the rescue.

I love these boards. I don’t have the time to be on a bunch of different ones. HF has the right amount of volume, smart core, and the crazy is contained. In fact, feel much less crazy this year that last couple… credit winning.
