OT: 2024 Washington Commanders thread: change we can believe in!

I really don’t get the love fest with Sainristil. Nothing special in coverage, I’ve seen him miss a few tackles like that last TD. Maybe he will be something ultimately but I’m waiting to see.

The defense has been better in the first halves but has been soft and getting shredded in the second halves. Pass rush disappears and the DBs give cushions in front of the 1st down markers.

Sainristil once again showing why I’m not that impressed. He had no need to do that, obviously doesn’t trust his ability to cut with a receiver.

Defense gave up a TD in about 1 minute. They couldn’t make it just a tad tougher, a tad more time. And Whitt deserves some criticism, when you know they are going to pass the ball send some pressure once in a while. It’s not like the defense you are playing is giving up 6 yards a pop, they are still giving up major chunks per play. If your crappy secondary is going to give big plays up anyways, help them with some pressure. Jones had all day.

Winners find a way to win. That is two in a row we just found a way.

Hope we make a move. A nasty CB would be a good add. And we need some DL depth. they are getting tired. I’m relatively ok with skill positions including WR.

Sloppy 2nd half.

The D badly needs a #1 CB, St. Juste is killing us. And Sain is playing out of position -- he was drafted as a slot/nickel stud but is playing outside because of the train wreck of a bucket of pig vomit that is #13.

Thought the 2nd half today might have been KK's worst of the season. Way too conservative way too early. We were in 2nd and 9 all half.

So definite work to do before next week, but we'll walk out of this weekend tied for the most wins in the NFC. Who would have predicted that coming into the season?!
 
Winning the games they're supposed to win is a nice change.

Also Terry less than 20 yards but 2 TDs, nice.
