Springer is batting .148/.212/.213 in June and will now have started 18 out of 20 games this month. Almost all of those starts have been at 5 or 6 in the lineup.

They literally prioritized playing Springer over saving the season and now the season is over.

There's nothing to be killed if we want to be honest. At this point the Oilers have more success winning games when McJesus is pointless than the Jays has success winning games when Vlad does nothing.

You’ve gotta figure Schneider really has zero say at this point and is only doing as he’s told. This is an over managed team but the decision are always the wrong ones. This team is in shambles. I don’t see any way anyone outside our pitching staff have jobs past October. They don’t have a choice but to clean house and there’s no hiding for Atkins. He’s gone too. They jut better not push all in to try and save jobs

We just need to move the expiring contracts and try again next year with new pieces including a new gm and manager. This team needs a full philosophy overhaul and Mattingly needs to be far away from this team. Our bats have been awful since he joined out front office.

… which is to keep playing Kiermaier and Springer, who are both OPSing about .400 this month. Springer gets to move up in the lineup! Martinez and Barger sit despite Barger in particular absolutely raking since his recall.

Those guys go 0-7 again, batting immediately in front of 3 HRs from IKF and Schneider.
