Gausman's looking good
I see responses on this alreadyGreen is fine but when this moron makes the wrong call every single game….. it’s time to call this f***ing idiot out. It’s 1-1 in the 9th and you’re not using Garcia or Romano? Just fire this f***ing clown and start blowing this pos team up. Enough is enough
I wish we had more games like this where everything falls into place. The offence and pitching clicking together. Gausman and Bassitt have done an amazing job back to back. Our bullpen is fresh as a daisy now.
Remember in June of 1989 the BlueJays had a similar record to this year and were 9 games out of the playoffs and they ended winning the division. It's not over until the fat lady sings.Shocking this team is only 2GB of the WC lol I don’t see any changes happening if at all if/when they really drop down in the standings
Yeah except that in 1989 our greatest ever manager in Cito Gaston take over, while we currently have a third tier yes man “manager”.Remember in June of 1989 the BlueJays had a similar record to this year and were 9 games out of the playoffs and they ended winning the division. The fat lady may be warming up, but she hasn't sung. Have faith.Yeah except that in 1989 our greatest ever manager in Cito Gaston take over, while we currently have a third tier yes man “manager”.
Oh, it’s over.
Two games back with 98 to go. She's not even in the damn building. The fat lady may be warming up, but she hasn't sung. Have faith.

Yep, and the current third Wild Card team is on pace for 83.5 wins. Someone in contention is going to get hot (and I'm not convinced KC is going to keep in it up either), but there's no reason that can't be the Jays.58-40 is needed to reach 89 wins. I don't know how many wins are going to be needed this year to clinch a spot, but to match last year's 89 wins they need to play .592 baseball the rest of the way. Seems very doable. I still think they should try to acquire someone like Brent Rooker to help them get there. But other people seem to want to still sell, so I don't know what the Jays front office will be up to.
