I've never understood why when they have a giveaway day, they only give it to the first 15K to 20K fans. Why not have enough so that everyone coming into the stadium gets one? To make people feel the need to wait out in line from 8 am for a memento or a piece of memorabilia seems lame. Have plenty so everyone can go home with one. Always been a gripe of mine.

Spend less money on promotional items, while also creating a large turnout 1.5 hrs before first pitch where people will feel the need to visit concessions or the shop. Hard not to see the benefit for ownership. I know some teams offer ticket packages to guarantee the promo item as well.
