Good things: First 8 minutes. Lindgren had some good saves.

Bad things: Czechs took control of the game in the last 10 mins. Too many sloppy giveaways.

I figured some nerves and cautious play in the first - we didn't give up anything so it's time to let the skill come out...get more aggressive and get pucks on net

I have a feeling that this will be one more sad chapter to our Worlds story. Unbelievable how tense this team looks. The guys have a lot of experience with these games. Zegras is a weight for this team. Sad but true.

What a wasted season by Zegras. Needs to really re-focus himself this offseason and figure it out. He's got 2 years left on his bridge deal and a couple of 60-something point seasons only buys you so much goodwill if you don't keep on keeping on.

Shorten the bench. No more Zegras, Farabee, etc.

Mix up the PP approach. The Czechs are taking away the bumper play and we seem to have no adjustments.

Look forward to us making Dostal look good for another period.

Werenski has been miserable today.

A typical big game in this tournament. Czechia deserves their 1-0 lead. Czechia has been exactly that much better

Despite all the hoopla in here, he hasn't had a great tournament. He's had flashes and he's put up points, but he still shouldn't be close to best-of team consideration unless he shows up when it matters and returns to 90+ point form in the NHL.

Czech are content with the US taking shots outside the dots. Just going to drop back and crowd the goaltender clean up rebounds. It's going to some goals from the US best players. Like the comeback against Slovakia.

I think you split up Gaudreau & Boldy for a spark. The cutesy stuff isnt working in a game like this.
