“Very balanced.” The entire point is there’s no real first line until one of them gets hot.

Okay...but there is talent gaps between these players. I do not care about balance if that means my NHL players are playing less minutes than 18 year old junior players

Seems odd to me to not take advantage of the chemistry pairings that would let us have a very balanced forward corps.

Yager-Wright-Firkus
Rehkopf-Cowan-Minten

I think you assume that Benson has chemistry with Geekie and Savoie more than with Yager, and I don't think that's the case. We saw it at Hlinka. I'm not even sure Geekie is strong enough for this team overall, and putting Savoie in a position where he has to support that isn't wise.

4 day selection camp to be held in Oakville Dec. 10-13. Not sure how long before that the invite list is made public.

I doubt Miller is being considered. My best guess of the goalies that will be at camp is Dyke, Ratzlaff, Rousseau, and Meneghin.

I remember these guys were the runners in the beginning along with DeVincentiis (I thought he was top runner). Just wondering if anything changed. I like seeing Rousseau's name in there tho

I honestly think Beck is going to take that role. Lots of skill, but I believe he'll know his role and bring the edge he showed in the memorial cup run

Starting to wonder if Luca Cagnoni will get a sniff as a 7/8th dmen. Jordan Spence style. Guys got 26 pts in 15 gp. He's a December bday, meaning this is his only shot at making a team. Think there's a chance Canada feels comfortable with Luneau and Mateychuk as their offensive QB's, and surrounds them with more defensive minded guys, like last year. We'll see, but hope he gets an invite to camp

I don't think I'd change my projection at all, but three players to watch, depending on if Korchinski/Benson are available, are RD Noah Warren, RD Aiden Celebrini, and W Koehn Ziemmer. All 04's, however, none of them have national team experience, so they may be amongst the final cuts.
