Wennberg is being so underrated for his play and ability to matchup against better lines for other teams. Mika has been doing that here for years because nobody else really makes sense, this can take a lot of load off of him

I said that the other day. Zibs and Kreider are overused. They can't be great at everything all the time.

This is very true. The top tier players in the league play the same minutes, but not nearly the leverage needed. They both play top PK and top PP minutes while also tackling the shutdown role.

Wennberg taking a big chunk of that responsibility opens that line for more offense.

Agreed. Fans bash CK and Mika but they play in all situations which wears on you. CK still has 31 goals so far

Im just looking for balance.

This team isnt going anywhere with Mika not producing. And i feel a ton of it has to do with the bromance.

Always liked Kreider with Trocheck. Now that you have a matchup line with Wennberg you can set Mika free.

This is the risk when you bring in a few guys, but the idea is to have 4 lines going and balance
