Vatrano has almost 30 goals, why doesn’t anyone on here want him? He’s good.

Because he will cost a lot., he isn't good defensively, and he isn't going to get the same opportunities with the Rangers, and therefore won't score as much. We'd be paying for what he's doing on Anaheim rather than what he will do on the Rangers.

Hes really a one dimensional player. Yes he can finish, but this team lacks 5on5, he would make them worse in that regard.

Of couse a big goal could change everything but we are talking about 4 rounds, 16 wins and against teams who are loading up.

The other thing is cost. Verbeek wants a 1st+. Hes signed for another year and they dont have to move him

Look at his card every year prior to Anaheim. It's just a function of being on that team. His defensive play was rated perfectly good beforehand. Did he suddenly forget how to do anything but shoot when he got to Anaheim or is it that he's playing on a team that has had no defensive structure for 5+ years now?

Okay maybe Drury blows. Should have just got Hanifin at this rate. Kuznetzov going to a divisional rival cheaper than Wennberg is sad stuff.
