The Rangers are going to do something today, maybe 2 smaller moves. They didn't pay for 50% retention in the Wennberg deal for nothing. I am still hopeful for Eberle and I don't believe anything that is reported unless it's a done deal.

EDIT: I just saw Eberle deal completed with Seattle. Cross him off the list.

If you are worried about injuries with Patches, you should also be with Zucker. Zucker has a tantalizing game when he is on but he is just as likely to hurt himself missing on a hit and slamming the boards shoulder first.

Too young tough and physical. Mika would be scared when Cuylle threw those big hits. Mika would never do that to wear down the defense. He rather swipe at the puck

Dawg…you’re subtracting FOUR PLAYERS from the deal to get to “paid more”. Go to bed…or school…whichever’s easier.

No I am not ignoring a cap dump, 4 mediocre prospects and laughable conditions on the picks they got. If they get bounced before the finals its a 2nd round pick and a bunch of guys who propably never play an NHL for a PPG player the last 6 years who scored 40 goals a few years ago. Drury gave up more picks for a guy with 25 points who doesn't shoot and everyone is arguing if he is good on defense or not. Go package the Karl Henrikksons of the world and get someone who will make a difference.

The fact that Pittsburgh couldn't get any of their better prospects is mind blowing. If Drury got Buch for the same cost everyone here would be losing their minds they would be so happy.
