  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I don't want him. He's incredibly overrated but at least he's young and has 3 years of control. Theres an element of the unknown when it comes to him too which is neither good or bad at the moment.

I very much think he's in play and very likely to move at the draft. I'd rather have him than Buchnevich or Vatrano, I already know how thats going to end.

Rangers don’t like those types unless they are 3rd and 4th liners. Rangers rather have finesse soft hockey in the top 6 outside of Trocheck. Finesse crap better not happen in the playoffs. It never works
 
I feel like Pacioretty and his NTC and low salary shouldnt be the only move.

He'll come in at 1M with 50% retained.

If it is, for what will be cheap - I'm fine with it - hes better than Wheeler.

But they need someone younger for that top 6 spot. He has injury history and he's 35

The guys who are reportedly available don't really move the needle for the team. Hope Drury thinks outside the box. If he can't get it done, so be it.

why? Pacioretty is fine and would be a good fit. we could probs re-sign him too if he's good.

Yeah I am leaving Cuylle on 3rd line LW. He has been great this year. Give Cuylle/Wennberg/Kakko a chance on the third line. Like a good 10 game stretch at least.

If Patioready wants to come here I would hope we can get him for a 5th or middle of the road prospect.

Too injury prone. He’d come here and get hurt knowing the Rangers luck. Rather go for someone who is more healthy

If they get bounced before the finals its a 2nd round pick and a bunch of guys who propably never play an NHL for a PPG player the last 6 years who scored 40 goals a few years ago. Drury gave up more picks for a guy with 25 points who doesn't shoot and everyone is arguing if he is good on defense or not. Go package the Karl Henrikksons of the world and get someone who will make a difference.

The fact that Pittsburgh couldn't get any of their better prospects is mind blowing. If Drury got Buch for the same cost everyone here would be losing their minds they would be so happy.

Yea and you would be ok with us sending them a comparable package of a 1st + Cuylle + Sykora + Edstrom all for the opportunity to try and sign a 30yo who isn't playing with Crosby anymore to a 9 million dollar long term contract. Give it a rest.

If the goal at the deadline is to swing big I think we were more than likely going to be disappointed. This team had some minor holes and they can be filled by lower level guys. Get good, competent, correctly placed guys and the team can improve.

I keep going back to years past, the guys who had some of the larger impacts were Vatrano and Mikkola. Neither were seen on the day they were traded for as 'key' pieces but they were the 'right' pieces.

If he plays bottom 6 who do you move? I rather not have him on the 4th line. So that means either Cuylle or Kakko move up. Kakko has not worked well with either Panarin or Mika.
