Tuch (Pipedream)
Eberle (possible but have no idea what it would cost and a rental)
Vatrano (I know he would score goals here but don't wanna hear 80 percent of this board say how much he sucks lol)
Zucker (cheaper but always seems to be hurt)
Exactly. Vatrano would be on the whine list more than Mika, Trouba, Goodrow, and Lindgren combined. Especially if they gave up a 1st to get him.

Listen, I don’t want Vatrano as much as the next guy, especially for the cost - but I’d rather have him on Mika’s right and Kakko on Wennbergs than go into the dance with the current lineup.

That being said, there will be another move or two made. There are other wingers, even unsexy names that will work out. It’s about getting that proper depth

Eberle
Toffoli

Buch is next tier. I think the price will be wild. I just don’t see Buchnevich as a guy who will elevate his game to the point of winning at all costs come playoff time. I like him, but not for the price especially due to the retention.

Vatrano, absolutely have no interest.

Pacioretty, definitely interested. Has a NTC. You can get him for a bargain.

Maybe someone else shakes loose. Tuch would be the dream.

I hate this deadline...

Nothing we COULD do would seem to be enough & the competitors only got better & better & deeper for peanuts.

It feels like they have infinite prospects & cap & we're living paycheck to paycheck & hoping Amscot can bail us out so we don't have the electric shut off.

Not to mention watching Pitt kick-start their Re-build / tool

Who got better for peanuts exactly? Carolina just got Guentzel but at what cost?

I wouldn't be worried about the Pens. They have literally one of the worst prospect pools and a key piece coming back from selling their top asset might be Michael freaking Bunting.

At least this club is not helping Pittsburgh kick-start their rebuild...

So a pure rental for now. What was the return?

Was watching TOR 2nd intermission an hour ago or so on TSN and McKenzie mentioned Bunting, pick or picks, and a prospect or prospects. Vague, didn't seem to know if it'd be just a single pick or multiple picks and didn't mention any prospect names.

if it comes down to the final hours tomorrow would you trade the first for Eberle? Sucks he's just a rental but I would probably as good a fit as there is gonna be.
I have no problem trading FRP for Eberle at this point. You just need to get the best fit in at this point. That’s Eberle

Chris "Hold the Line" Drury will not budge to terroristic demands.

He was never in it. Pittsburgh used the Rangers as bait to increase Carolina's bid. Carolina never bit. Spanked dubas' ass.

One team in the East did anything significant.
We do have decent prospects (forwards) and for once maybe developing the right way. 1-2 years we will see the fruits of that.
Pitt will have a very very long way to go. They won't really properly rebuild until Sid and company are gone. What another 3-4 years? Then probably another 3-4 years on top of that to be competitive again.
