f*** the canes for trying to increase the bid war by scratching bunting. Drury needs to respond by doing a twitter live stream of kakko being locked in a cage for the next 24 hours.
"Wow, it's a nice waterboard"

and we don't even have a Gartner to deal with our depth for Andersson. I'd honestly hate to part with any of them for another early exit. Wouldn't be surprised of Drury goes the cheap route for Duclair type deal.
It’s entirely possible Duclair outperforms Guentzel.

Because 3 nobodies on twitter posted old pics of buch in a Rangers jersey?
no, it's because he's the exact fit this team needs to get over the hump. They dealt him because they were desperate to attain depth and make the playoffs, now they are a depth heavy team itching to get the cup.

Drury knows we have a Kreider/Zibanejad issue 5v5, who do we get to solve that issue? The guy that actually made Kreider and Zibanejad good 5v5. People might not like the idea of trading with St.Louis again, personally I don't care, he's the answer to this teams woes, and the locker-room deserves to feel good, they loved Pavel.
Doug and Chris have made some deals in recent time, get it done and give Doug his pick of the crop, we'll still have a solid prospect pool at the end of the day.

He has always been the best fit, better than Guentzel. But I doubt the rangers pay up for him.

Maybe we wait until there are no buyers left and we pluck vatrano on the cheap.

I still don’t know why buchnevich isn’t the no brainer move other than pride getting in the way.

Seems like less of an ask. He’s an actual right wing. Guentzel is not. He’s actually played with Mika and CK. He’s signed for next year. Just a total no brainer.

By the way it is extremely risky trading for a big time scoring winger who’s played his whole career with Sidney friggen Crosby. He ain’t getting that coming here

If we trade for Frank Vatrano, I’m going to lose my mind

Checks 0 boxes. High asking price, a 0 5v5, an extra year which causes a glut of wings among the youngsters next year. Would be a slap in the face to fans disguised as a positive vibes move

Joe, the fans are upset general manager Chris Drury didn't mortgage the future for a rental.

The funny thing is there is no mortgage on the Rangers future. They own the building.

The Rangers just went hard after Guentzel, the people trying to trade Zibanejad right now are smoking crack.

I’ll be disgusted if Drury doesn’t go hard after Buch. Checks literally every box. At least try to grab Reilly Smith
Do you even know who they offered for him?

Somehow we go from:

Only go for the Cup when you are a surefire favorite because even being a top 5 team in the league isn't good enough

To hey anything could happen, Anthony Duclair could outperform Jake Guentzel

one of the biggest things about playing with crosby that no one has brought up here is that crosby's motor and work ethic rubs off on people. people that go play with him feel like they need to raise their level. it would be foolish to assume that when people leave that there isnt a lull. how many people played well with sid and went elsewhere and completely sagged in production AND in effort

Do you have the stats on those 3 together?

Eh if the price was any more than a first. I don’t even want to give up a first but might consider it if he was returning to being in their long term plans.
