Agreed. I want a guy with term more than Guentzel, however, Guentzel is who is actually available at the moment. I also think if the Rangers add him he will be extended at some point. Whether thats a good idea is a different issue but its what I think will happen. I dont see him as a straight rental per se.

Yeah I wouldn't be shocked if he was. He is gonna be 30 which is risky but by the time he begins declining the rangers will be retooling and alot of the big money contracts will have expired

I mean, ugh. It's just a very 'half-erect' move to make unless he explodes here. If we're gonna go for it, there has to be a better move to be made with our valuable pieces.

Though Kaks last run on the top line had showcase vibes. Luckily he did what he usually does on that line and not work out with the 5v5 wonder twins.

I am not sure why you are obsessed with having so many right shots on a pp, it means nothing. In fact, having a left shot guy on the right wall gives you more shooting options. You make a pp to suit your best players you don't go looking for right handed guys to suit a pp. Tampa's pp does pretty well with Stamkos and Kucherov on each wall.
