Kinda telling they couldn’t find a permanent move for him. Aguerd is a pretty mediocre player, doubt he’s relied on much for Sociedad. Good left foot and solid athletically when he’s fit, but he’s got Issa Diop disease where he’s terrible at reading the play. Ends up being responsible for a lot of goals.

Should also mention this means West Ham down to just 3 CBs. So must be a big interest on both sides to move him on. Have to assume they try and get some cover too.

The summer transfer window of 2022 for Chelsea has to be one of the worst of all-time. Add in the winter window of that season and you add flops like Mudryk and Badiashile, and then we'll see how Enzo and Madueke work out.

Summer included guys like Sterling, Koulibaly, Cucurella, Aubameyang, and Fofana. Fofana's issues have been with injuries, but he had issues before the transfer, so obviously came with risk.
