There is going to be a crazy bidding war for him next summer.

LOL, “perceived to be unattainable?” The only way that is the case is if Arsenal don’t have the money to afford him or he’s not interested. Take your pick. As for next Summer, if he still has a reasonable buyout clause the only bidding war would be about wages and even then if he’s only interested in joining a specific club it might not matter so much.

Rumours of Bajcetic on loan to Barcelona

I really don’t get this. I’m seeing a loan fee of 4 million and no option to buy. If the point is cover then just give the nod to Casado. If we can scrounge up 4 million, can’t we just get that up to 15 million and bring in Guerra instead?

Ugh, Celta…

PSG is probably being patient here. And targeting multiple guys. They were right in a way. Napoli was asking 130M out of them. Now it's already down to 65.

Heard about that 65 million figure 2 days ago. PSG immediately came to mind, but I recall Chelsea being linked as well. I’d be very surprised if PSG didn’t move for him.

Speak of the devil, Arsenal is supposedly going after RB Leipzig's Lois Openda. He has an 80 million Euro release clause, but Arsenal is negotiating around 60-65 million Euros. Is he worth that?

He’d cost less in terms of the transfer fee unless Arsenal can get that minimum for Openda. Point was more so that if he is unattainable it’s because he doesn’t want to leave Bilbao for Arsenal, not because they can’t afford him.

Was there any argument otherwise?

Lots of stuff happening in Ajax;

Ajax and Espanyol have reached an agreement on the loan of Naci Unüvar. He’ll fly to Spain tonight for his medicals. If Espanyol stay in La Liga they’ll be obligated to buy him for €1M.

[Mike Verweij] Ajax and Burnley have reached an agreement on the transfer of Wout Weghorst, for a fee “that’s significantly lower than €5M”

[Football Insider] Nottingham Forest turn attention to agreeing Brian Brobbey deal

Ajax wants to get rid of Steven Bergwijn | Takes major loss in account.

[L'Equipe] Olympique Lyon interested in Forbs

John Brooks back to his childhood club in Hertha, from Hoffenheim.

Nordi Mukiele's loan to Leverkusen made official, meanwhile their own defender Kossounou goes to a loan to Atalanta for 5 mil

Koopmeiners to Juve for 54 + mil

Maxime Lopez on a free from Sassuolo to Ligue 2's Paris FC. Can't believe he couldn't find a higher level club. Love the player.

The next Dardai kid seems set to leave Hertha as Marton is looking for a transfer. Werder & Augsburg have been mentioned.

Kemlein’s loan to St Pauli seems to be in question.

Zahavi confirms that Tah wants to leave and they will try to find a solution soon. Curious that this comes out right after they loaned Kossounou to Atalanta, as they would have just Hincapie, Tapsoba, Belocian, and Mukiele left capable of playing in the back 3.

They were linked to Matip and a few other CBs earlier…Sutalo, Liete, Todibo, etc…so they probably have a good idea of how they could replace him, but if he’s been insistent about this all summer it’s weird that they didn’t hold onto Kossounou.

Can that Morton kid they’ve been linked to from LFC play in a back 3?
