Some of us are being too quick to panic for the inactivity on the UFA market (which is absolute dogshit to be honest I mean Marchessault y'all for real??) But I'm pretty sure Dach's winger will come through trade.

Just listened to Hughes pc, he said he doesn’t mind giving money to a top 6 players but didnt want long term. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he goes after Laine and his 2 yrs contract.

If management is willing to promise him NHL time (because that's what the dude want) it's pretty much the kind of trade that would make a lot of sense for the Habs.

Still need Winterpeg to be willing to tango tho.
