Devils got significantly better and Caps added PLD/Roy/Chychrun/Mangiapane while losing Kuemper. These are two of the wildcard teams that people thought we'd be competing with. Expect another bottom 10 finish at this rate.

The Stamkos and Marchessault contracts are fine but holy shit that Skjei one might be the worst contract of the day so far. Nashville desperately needed defense but that's still insane.

I'm ok with the team drafting top 5 for the next 5 yrs, as long as the guys pan out. So far, the top 6 looks promising:

Suz Cauf Slaf
Demidov Hage Newhook
Roy Dach Beck

Again, it also depends if Dach and Newhook can stay healthy. Beck and Roy can they make a big break?
