Any awards he won as a player are irrelevant in a discussion of his coaching acumen.
lol you gotta be shitting me

Everything in life is built on trust and respect and his players know his background as a player and leader

He was voted a captain in TC by the 2007 roster

he also was a DC for 5 years but Bill wouldn’t name him because of the Belichick succession plan

Embarrassing take

Ben Johnson already catching flack for clown show call

love to see the split reaction here if he did this here

He was never DC because he never called plays.

Bo Nix is the first rookie voted as captain by the Broncos players in 70 years. He's won multiple rookie of the week honors. That means he's automatically a great nfl coach.

Talk about an embarrassing take.

the patriots simply can’t draft hunter for the amount of times his fiancé had been exposed for cheating on him and being a terrible person

Have to think Vegas will be looking to jump into #2 to take Ward. Assuming Pats swap, who’s there a #6 for Pats? Hunter most likely off the board. McMillan possibly?
I'm extremely curious to see what Minnesota does with Sam Darnold this off-season. I think he or McCarthy are way more valuable to NFL teams than any QB coming out in the draft this year.

Its going to be very interesting to see how that progresses.

My guess is they go 1-1 in the last two games. They probably should lose both, but it seems very likely Buffalo will not have anything to play for Week 18, so I could easily see them rest some guys.

Probably end up finishing with the 5th pick.

Some interesting games to keep an eye on this week:
Titans vs Jags
Raiders vs Saints
Giants vs Colts

KC needs 1 win to claim #1 spot. Buffalo, will be ahead of Houston regardless. Pitt/Bal can tie them with the same # of wins. Bal has the H2H vs Buffalo. Buffalo wins week 17, they claim #2 spot if KC beats Pitt. Thus, making week 18 meaningless for them and they'd be wise to rest Allen.

One of Ten/Jax gets more than 3 wins at least (if they tie, then both jump the 3 win teams).

Raiders, I don't think Carr is playing for NO. It would be his revenge game, but think NO front office shuts him down to allow new HC input on whether they bring Carr back for $30 mill in base salary for 2025. Already on the hook for his $10 mill roster bonus for 2025.

I don't think the giants win another game. They look done and checked out. Evan Neal looks terrible at OT.

Clev has Miami in week 17 at home. If it is terrible weather, that favors the Browns.

Will see if there will be a change in standings due to SOS moving forward. Both Ten and NE had 4th place schedules this season.

Darnold would net them a comp 3rd assuming they don't do anything to negate that. JJ, the benefit is the rookie deal, but you also don't want to take a step back.

If McCarthy is available via trade, I think teams would likely go get him. Add in other clubs like Jets, Saints, Seahawks as well to that mix.

I've been of the mind that they should trade down to the Raiders or some team that wants a QB then go for the best LT available, but looking at the board Campbell is the only sure top ten lineman and I don't know if that's worth the drop. I'm starting to come around on Hunter, then you have the secondary basically locked down for the next 7 years or so with him and Gonzo, and whatever else he contributes as a WR is a bonus.

When you have multiple years of taking draft picks it means you suck.

The people in charge who is responsible for sucking are the ones to make the great decisions of a pick to maybe turn it around?

Yeah…let’s keep those fingers crossed:

I’m no expert but I thought the other corner might be a better pure corner than Hunter?

That would be the Michigan CB who is also highly touted.
Travis will get a package of WR plays. Just no way he can develop timing with Maye spending that much time as a D starter would on film study. Has to be a limited set of plays.

Have to know whether he views himself due to money as a WR or CB. Surtain landed at $25 mill per while Top WR are into the $30’s.
