I think especially in a sport like baseball where guys can spend years in the minors and with how much easier it's become to gamble on sports, i'm surprised that this hasn't happened more.

I may be 0-2 on my last locks of the century but if Tucupito Marcano wants to feel better about getting banned for life he should smash the Braves moneyline tonight. There's more minor league level hitters in that lineup tonight than major league bats.

Hell baby
I guess Cora was a little late warming up Bernardino
Cora hasn’t been great the last couple of games. I do know it seems like he was limited tonight though

Chris Martin going on the IL tomorrow, Zack Kelly coming back up. Because sure why not

It doesn't help that MLB is now sponsored by all these betting sites either
Yeah, I ain't buying that. MLB sponsors a lot of things, including alcohol. If you drink too much, lose control of yourself and end up abusing your spouse. That isn't MLB's fault. Nor it is the NHL's or the Boston Bruins, if you catch my drift......

Two really different situations.

I don't think having betting sites sponsor MLB is helping anyone. Same goes for the NFL. Too tempting.

People always point out that is hypocritical to promote gambling while punishing players for it. It is not. Average Joe’s don’t influence the outcome of games and don’t have insider information. It’s like comparing the average person trading stocks to somebody doing insider trading. Is it hypocritical when the SEC comes and locks those people up or sanctions them while allowing other people to continue trading stocks? f*** no it isn’t, and it isn’t when the MLB does this.

The players aren’t gambling more because the league shows DraftKings commercials, they are gambling because they think it’s fun and they’re stupid

Baseball America has pitching prospect Luis Perales rocketing up to #57 on their top 100 list

He was quite good in his AA debut

Well said AC

This team, despite everything seems to take mental health seriously. Look at Duran's situation

In this crazy world, I'm glad they do.

Dominant 9-0 win.

Westbrook with his first MLB hit. Happy for him. 11 years in the minors with great stats, never got a sniff. Here he is. Happy for him!

Kids won't go hungry tonight!
