Chris Martin

Wtf
Not a Sox fan, so haven't followed Martin much until last week when he pitched against my team (Milwaukee). His episode on Sunday was bizarre. That guy's wired a little too tight......

He's spare parts, IMHO. That said, he's a great player to use if you're stumped on your Immaculate Grid.

Also, you can't blame pitching when you don't score any runs.

This team can't do both at the same time consistently.

Hell baby
Martin was one of the best relievers in baseball last year but unfortunately he’s still a reliever. They’re probably one of the more volatile assets in sports. It’s why I wanted to move Kenley or Martin this offseason. Now I want them both moved at the deadline

Valdez is back? Sad.

One walk. 12 K's. Two hits last night. Also sad.

By playing every day, Duran has the honor of leading this horrible hitting team with 61 strikeouts.

Rafaela leads the team in RBI with 28, though he's hitting .205 with an OBP of .234.

Duran has been very solid despite the strike outs.

sure but as currently constructed, the boston red sox are only built to fade. no reinforcements will be ready in the minors, tons of injuries, zero intent to take on salaries in trades, and already limped into the season with a massively underbudget offense. pitching will have to regress closer to the means and then this team is in 2nd to last.

what do you think the ceiling of this team is?

If Bobby Dalbec had the same number of plate appearances as Duran he'd actually prorate to 122 strikeouts right now.

Don't you think getting Yoshida, O'Neill and Casas back might slow the fade?
