Why refund their money? Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. They should be charged with assault, too.
I mean we can stop at the assault charges. That's taking it way too far. I think it's ok to laugh at the guy grabbing glove/ball. He's obviously an idiot but it made for a lot of laughs on Twitter. The guy holding Betts' wrist though could have done some damage.

What you describe is textbook assault. Incidentally, assault doesn't have to be physical to warrant criminal charges. Validating it with laughter on Twitter is bizarre.

Lighten up. There were plenty of people laughing at it. Mookie Betts is fine, idiots ejected. We move on. Ban them from Yankee Stadium. I didn't come across anyone calling for assault charges. MLB/Mookie Betts could push for that if they want.

I do think a lifetime ban is in order. You cannot touch a player, let alone grab their glove to pry it open while your friend holds the player's other arm. I've really never seen anything like it. More than worthy of a lifetime ban.

Gee Wally Willickers ... plenty of people laughing at it. That must mean it's A-OK.

It's all about setting an example. If you don't punish them enough to dissuade others, you're going to run into it again and maybe next time a player gets hurt.

MLBPA will likely push for a lifetime ban for that reason. If these goons weren't season ticket holders of very expensive seats they'd already have one. f***ing Yankees. Embarrassing.
