Do Patriots keep Zappe till camp or release now

I like him but can’t be in room with Daniels or Maye
Throw him out with the trash.

He's full of himself. He genuinely believes he's the #1 QB. Which, okay kid, I respect the self confidence. But the shady comments all season, and him liking shady posts. Can't have that. All the toxic shit from last year has to go. Including him.

Nearly $100m in cap and trumpeting the message of "no more business as usual, now we'll spend with the cheapskate Belichick gone" and all we've gotten so far in free agency is the rumor of being connected to Calvin Ridley?

Yah I agree - seems like a good kid but he’s there to win which is fine but not what you want if draft a QB very high

Full throttle 2.0

Where does Fields go now, you guys, Raiders, Broncos?

Definitely not the Broncos. He's too similar to Russ which isn't what Payton is looking for.

I'm not 100% confident that the Bears trade him if they don't get an offer they like. They could very easily keep him for his final year as a backup, or start him and give Williams a year to adjust and learn the offense. Its a lot of money for a backup, sure, but its only for a year and the Bears have tons of cap space.

They can always trade him mid-season as well, when the inevitable QB injuries start taking place. My point here is that the Bears don't necessarily have to move him, if they don't get an offer they like......and so far, they haven't.

I think Chicago keeps him and drafts MHJ. MHJ and DJ Moore is a killer WR combo, add a competent RB and they'll put up a lot of points.

Gibson has the size (6-foot-2 and 220 pounds) to take punishment between the tackles more naturally than Pacheco does. So if K.C. wanted to use him on early downs to carry the ball they could. His receiver background also makes him an option to replace McKinnon on passing downs. The final selling point for me was how Gibson has improved his pass protection since he moved to running back. While not a perfect measure, his 71.9 Pro Football Focus pass blocking grade was their 8th best for a running back last season and a sign of how he has improved in this key area.

4/180 with 100 guaranteed for Cousins. That man always gets paid, even after an achilles tear and turning 36 before the season starts. Have to respect it.

I wish Belichick got the Falcons job. Not being able to build an offense wouldn't have been a problem with Pitts, Bijan, London and a really good line already there and signing Kirk Cousins. They have a soft schedule next season. 11+ wins should be on the table for them

Assuming this is his final deal, and he plays it out....Kirk Cousins will have made close to 400 million.

Even if he only plays the two guaranteed years, his career earning s are 320 million.

I don't get it.
