Goalie market is ironically better if you want to get a #1 goalie than a backup right now. Also, Prosvetov has looked good in the AHL and Annunen just posted b2b shutouts (albeit against Chicago). Not really surprising.

Getting help at defence could be connected to getting that center, if Bo is the centrepiece going back in a trade. Sure, can't have enough depth D but not something I'm overtly concerned about at the moment if this group is what we are going with.

I almost wanted to type this two hours ago and now regret it, but why wouldn't something around PIT/COL/VAN work where we get Lindholm, PIT gets Byram and RyJo and VAN gets Guentzel? Needs some additional work but just as a premise.

If Bo goes, I bet the Avs press hard for Walker and run him on the 3rd pair with JMFJ. Then in the playoffs they do exactly what they did during their Cup run where they essentially ran 5D plus sprinkled JMFJ in early games.

That's something I didn't want to read as being a possibility in the past. I didn't know they were after him.

Thank f***ing God things went our way, one of the best trades Avs have ever done by considering the sheer impact he had on the 2022 playoffs.
