Yet its clearly not irrelevant because here you and others are clamoring for centers drafted and.. where are they?

For some 'critically important position' thats 'a significant organizational need' clearly the actual people in charge dont agree with you

Nonsense circular logic. The fact that they haven’t drafted many Cs of late is precisely why they need to begin drafting centers again.

Thats fair but it doesnt require 1st 2nd or even 3rd round picks to be spent on for roles that wont ever see significant icetime behind those two (outside the injuries you stated)

Instead, like we have, we should be using those higher round picks on other positions that dont have two 1st overall staples tied to them
We have two top 5 pick defensemen on the team and just used a top 10 pick on another one, so maybe we should look at a center at some point?

A center would be on the third line (if he plays center)

You can have four high pick defenseman on the top 2 pairs

Thats a massive difference - two staples vs four staples
