I think Lindstrom probably goes 2 OA and certainly top 5. His upside is hard to ignore.
if you think he's a 1C then he goes at 2. If you think he's a 2C then he slips a bit to top 5-6. I think he's a 2C myself.

Looks like rankings between 2nd overall and 100th overall are completely all over the map depending on who you ask.

This level of variance, even at the mid-term, is unbelievable.
We've got seven picks in that range and the scouting expertise to make them count.

Can someone please explain the love for Demidov to me?

I've watched several of the games posted on Youtube and watched them, and then I review his production in the MHL and it's not a level of production, along w/his deficiencies to warrant a top pick.

I don't get it and need some help

MHL or KHL games?
MHL...it will literally be an entire game of bad decision-making, poor defensive play and then 1 highlight reel offensive play that leads to a goal or an assist.

And then when I check his production 28pts in 18games and I mean he's at the top of the list ppg wise, but not by such a wide margin that it would warrant the type of draft position he's currently projected at.

His current rate for u19 ppg (min 20gp) would be #1 this year, #1 last year and #2 the year before (Michkov), #1 the year before that, #1 the year before that and #1 the year before that. So he’s got the best U19 ppg (min 20gp) in the MHL of any player in the last 6yrs (outside of Michkov).

So the production is really good. And was really good last year. The eye popping skill and highlight reel plays combined with the production is why he’s so highly ranked.

You’re right, though. He’s extremely raw and has a ton to get cleaned up. KHL is really good for that, though. MHL is kind of a circus.

Celebrini feels like a No1 pick. Whichever get gets drafted No2 will feel more like a No5 pick. But there are like 8-9 guys who feel like No5 picks. Just nobody who feels like a No2-3 pick.

You watch Yegor Surin at all? I love this kid. Getting no 1st round hype. I don’t get it. He’s a 1st all day for me.

Does anyone really believe that Eiserman could actually drop to where we will select?
No. He'll climb back up. He got hurt in December after a mild November performance, but he's back and scoring again. Some of that drop is probably due to not being a center or d-man. If he falls to us 😂 we take him. Just what we don't need...another winger, but this kid is a scoring machine.

I have Eiserman 2nd on my list despite the warts and worries. He’s producing like Cole Caufield while being half a foot taller and being two weeks too old for next year’s draft.

I might drop him down. Need to see how he and others finish off the season and what new information becomes available.

Some highlights from McKenzie's list..

Yakemchuk 12
Jiricek 14
Letourneau 32
Pulkkinen 33
Emery 39
Solberg 45

I'm guessing that we take Letourneau with our 1st.

You think we're winning the cup?

I'm not a pessimist but I see the Yotes ending up with the 14th or 15th pick. We've used the Soderstrom trade as a template for trading up multiples times and I think it'll be done again. Both our 2nd and the Caps 2nd will be in that mid-second range.

I think we'll trade up to around the 10th pick and take Yakemchuk. Big, right handed defenseman with a bit of a mean streak.

Interesting to look back at McKenzie's list from a year ago where he had But (25), Hrabal (32), Simashev (35), Nordh (61) and Castagna, Ludtke, and Moroz weren't ranked.
