Tampa fans say he lost a step and is more of a PeePee specialist at this point.

almost an even split of his points last year were Even and Powerplay (42 vs 39).

If Rangers are going for a big fish, it needs to be someone who can be a difference maker 5on5.

I’d argue that Stamkos with Trochek and Panarin would be just fine 5v5 and moving Lafreniere who is a very good 5v5 player to the Zibanejad line would do wonders for this team as a whole

speaking of which, for all of my life (im in my 30s) Doritos were like the American political system. You got 2 choices, red or blue, and that was it. A few years back they introduced purple which was a watershed moment. Now, in 2024, they're releaseing a new flavor every month. The other day i went to the store and saw SPICY PICKLE DORITOS .

Its a brave new world out there, thats for sure.

I apologize if someone has already mentioned this in this thread. Sean Shapiro and Cam Robinson on EP Ringside reported that Emery fell because of a non career altering medical issue that did not prevent Emery from performing well at the combine or continue his off season training program. I leave it to the doctors to speculate on what this could be but the Rangers' medical staff would have had the same medical information and must have deemed the condition either not serious or treatable. Shapiro and Robinson reported that other teams that had Emery high on their list were unwilling to use a first rounder on Emery because of this condition.

Probably a heart murmur like Lundqvist had back in the day

I give the draft a C. If Emery becomes a quality shutdown D and one of the other players can do something by like 2027 or 2028 awesome. Emery is cool and Rico Suave will be interesting to follow. The others I'm like whatever on.

Given totality of circumstances, this draft was ok. Obv would have preferred we had more ammo to work with by avoiding stupid rentals and faring pf vets over youth development
give this a B- at best mo like C+
Notwithstanding medical concern, I like Emery at 30oA
rest are worth a shot
