The sooner you guys quit coping about Demidov the better. Bob's consensus #2 guy never reaches #5. All signs point to Helenius whether you like it or not.
  • He's the most NHL projectible center after Celebrini.
  • Fills a need at 2C with Dach's injury and faceoff concerns.
  • Vanilla euro pick, right up Bobrovsky's alley.
  • Two scouts surveyed by McKenzie had him number 3 on their list.
  • Would cause maximum backlash similar to the Slaf/Reinbacher pick.
  • Most importantly, Golden Hands called it.
Dread it, run from it, Helenius arrives all the same.

I don't really know enough on who to pick as I have barely seen any of the top prospects play. But I'm going to give Hughes, Bobrov and Lapointe some advice.

Michkovians, if the Habs get Demidov this year does it ease the decision to pass on Matvei for you at all? Knowing the team definitely wouldn't pick both of them.
I think I would be really satisfied and I prefer Demidov over Michkov, the kid seems to have a great personality and also a team player. If we end up with Reinbacher Demidov I think it would be like we had Michkov Levshunov

Draft either in this order:

1. Demidov
2. Lindstrom
3. Iginla
4. Sennecke / Catton (tie for me)

For the love of all that is good, do NOT pick a defenseman. Please, not another year of this crap just for a boring defenseman pick.

Thank you Kent.
