Yeah. I was at peace with not getting a shot at him. But now with all the info coming out, true or not, it will be hard not to be disappointed if he doesn't make it to us...

I think we are getting Lindstrom, Trevor was a lil too giddy about Demidov.
Trevor Timmins says we would have selected John Carlson had Bob Gainey not traded our pick for Alex Tanguay at the 2008 Draft.
I was at that draft, I remember being so f***ing mad we made that trade.

Habs need quality right now. They're at a stage where they only need two more top 6 forwards. There's a very good chance they get that at 5. They probably trade or sign the other one. But if they got a chance to draft another core piece, it would go a long way

You jabronies really need to keep your pants on with Demidov, this is getting ridiculous. There are plenty of good candidates at #5, putting all your hopes and dreams on just one player is setting yourself up for major disappointment in the end. We're going to end up with a good prospect on our hands, no matter what happens, don't sweat too much about it
We all know this is the HF way.
Create a full on fantasy where some posters are even imagining themselves donning the CH and playing with their new draft pick. They used to make imaginary passes to Zarina and Michkov, now they're receiving passes from Demidov.
And if it doesn't work exactly like they hoped, all hell will be let loose in this forum.
Personally, I'll be enjoying my front seat view at the freak show if it happens tomorrow.

Bicep potential isn't big enough. If he's healthy, Lindstrom is a great pick at 5. Wouldn't be mad at all with that

Timmins never tipped his hat when he was with Montreal. The year we drafted Galchenyuk, he was talking about Forsberg in that setting in 2012.

I feel like Tij Iginla will be a safe choice , feel like he's gonna be a Brady Trachuk but without the caveman aspect . A leader like his father. Feels like a no brainer even if ''BACK''strom and demigod are picked before #5

Well Levshunov is 28, so Matheson ain't that old.
Grant’s probably upset nobody is buying his draft guide and he that has about 15 people signed up for his hockey pool that he was convinced would be a hit. Now he’s going to have to pay out of his own pocket.

Guy actually seems to take it personally that the guy liked Levshunovs personality. What a fragile assclown. Does he know the draft is about 17-18 year old kids playing a sport ? Must be insufferable to work with. Also, he's a bore on these podcasts, gives 0 insight.

Yes, Alex Tanguay was easily the softest Hab I’ve ever watched. Mike Cammalleri is up there as well - he would literally skate away from the puck near the boards to avoid contact - but at least he was impactful offensively and had some big moments. Tanguay was useless here.

True if you look at any PC he had 5 years after he always says '' i had the best choices at our spot but Bergevin/Gainey wouldnt listen . The guy was a fraud because of his lucky 2007 draft.
