Well if a D like Dickinson or Saliyev that the Kraken really likem is available, that would probably be the price to pay at minimum.

If Seattle wants to move up three spots (and Demidov and Lindstrom are already picked) the price is a late first which they don't have, so I will settle for one of their 2nd round prospects from 2022 (Firkus, Nyman or Goyette, although I really prefer the first two). I would grab Iginla or Sennecke at 8 and pick up a good forward prospect along the way.

He’s pretty much a sniper. I don’t get the comparison as his passing isn’t anything special. He gets by, but he’s not near Kaprizov or Suzuki level.

If you want a player comparison for Iginla, it’s someone like Brandon Hagel.

Nah, I see him with a fair amount of play making vision in his game. More than guys like Lindstrom and Sennecke. Probably on par with Demidov in that area.

Add Hagel to mix with Kaprisov and Suzuki. Some sort of mix of them 3.

Especially the Habs scouts. Always looking for the professional athletics minded kids and family among the prospects. Like Slaf and Rohrer. Or Beck, who went to play competitive soccer in EU before switching to hockey once back in Canada.

Been working on that dere top 75. I think that's where I'll stop. It's already very murky after 45, wouldn't see the use in adding more names, it would probably just be random. There's about 100 more names I have on my "short list" but still.

Like it or not, the 3 tournaments that seem to influence people's opinion on prospects most are the world juniors, u18s, and memorial cup

No, it's just funny that some people saw Iginla's round 1 and he was the flavor of the week, then they saw Buium in the frozen four games against Fowler/Hutson and he was the flavor of the week, now Dickinson has some excellent Memorial Cup games and he's the guy we need.

Very solid and respectable.

Eiserman at 16 is interesting. I'm very curious to see where he is taken and how he turns out.

3 D in the top 10 (3, 7, 10). It reflects what I see as well. That D group is full of top 4D's but several fans have been gullible thinking there are several top pairing studs. I don't believe so. I see lots to choose from with both F and D in this draft.

I have only looked deep into the top 15. Don't have time to look at the rest.

What the F are we going to do if the draft goes like this.. If this happens, I would trade down to 8-13 range.
1) Celebrini
2) Demidov
3) Iggy
4) Lindstrom

Recency bias, nothing new.
