Not very similar. Pure playmaker vs powerforward. How does Lindstrom compare to Dach in his draft year (and today)?
Tij reminds me a lot of Jack Quinn who I was lower on in his draft year as he was a very early birthday (4 days from being 2019 eligible).Yes, Pronman said there were some but not many in his last conversations.
See how that shifts by end of the year. The playoffs and U18s tends to really separate players.

Jamie Benn would be closer.

Not going to make the same mistake twice, plus Tij is on the younger side and on a massive upward trajectory.
I like Iginla more than most and there is a very important similarity that he shares with his father, they are both freakishly strong for their size and are great on the wall. The thing that stood out the most with his old man at the same age was his incredible strength despite not being a huge guy. Tij is smaller than his father but I think he could very well be a Jarome light in a smaller package as I think he has better edges and can really wreak havoc in traffic as well as protect the puck along the perimeter as well as being able to score from distance like his father could.
I do not know but Dach was bad on faceoffs both in the junior and in the NHL Lindstrom seems better at this level. How does Lindstrom compare to Dach in his draft year (and today)?
Honestly,i don’t want a defenseman with both our first choiceA good thing about this draft. We get one of Catton, Buium, Dickinson, Parekh, Lindstrom or Ignila
If Lindstrom wasn't injured for so long, it's clear he would be a legitimate top three draft pick. Maybe, it's a gift going into the upcoming draft. How does Lindstrom compare to Dach in his draft year (and today)?

For such an allegedly d heavy draft there sure are a lot of forwards making waves down the stretch. I am not that worried picking at 7 as I would have been three months back.
Same. I really really want demidov but Iginla is a fantastic consolation price if Habs decide to draft him. He's my fav after demidov, no way he's not available at #7For such an allegedly d heavy draft there sure are a lot of forwards making waves down the stretch. You want BPA. If Dickinson or Buium there at 8 you have to take them. Can trade one of our other D get instant top 6 forward. More sure of what you getting also. Drafting for need opens up Kotkaniemi type mistake. You are taking inferior player. Very seldom draft high in draft, never take inferior player. Skill you going to need.Honestly,i don’t want a defenseman with both our first choice
Guhle- Mailloux
Hutson-Reinbacher
Xhekaj-Barron
Struble-Kovacevic
Harris-Koniushkov
Engstrom
The D are in their own tier - seems like a 2008 type of draft.Pronman latest rankings are out.
Tier 1
Celebrini
Tier 2
Silayev
Dickinson
Yakemchuk
Levshunov
Tier 3
Catton
Demidov
Lindstrom
Count that as 8 players, good chance
Yes even 19 YO Kotkaniemi manhandled the Swedish stickThank you! Elias Petterson is 6'2 but 170 lbs. I personally think Suzuki is bigger than him. 3 inches less but 40 lbs more. Height gets so overblown. Yes if you Ovechkin, height matters but if you're like Petterson, the few inches aren't a huge factor
If Hughes takes Eiseman over Dickenson I'd say he's being dipping into the battery acid. Who's going to pass on #1 defenseman for second line forward because of need? They did exactly that last year - passing on the superior player (Michkov). Hughes was pretty clear the other day: they’re drafting a forward, even if the big 4 (Celebrini, Demidov, Lindstrom and Catton) are gone by their pick. You can buy your Eiserman jersey now if you want to.
I haven’t seen a single report that lists Eiserman as a second line forward and several have Eiserman ranked as the second best forward in the draft. If Hughes takes Eiseman over Dickenson I'd say he's being dipping into the battery acid. Who's going to pass on #1 defenseman for second line forward because of need?
I would like the Habs to draft a high end forward or a high end defenseman with the first first, and I want the Habs to keep the second first and pick another good prospect.I want to come out of this draft with a highly touted forward and I would also like to see the Winnipeg pick packaged with other picks/prospects to obtain a young forward prospect with size and skill.
Your preferences here shouldn't offend anyone. My top 12 so far (I might offend some...I'm sorry...):
Celebrini
Demidov
Dickinson
Catton
Iginla
Eiserman
Lindstrom
Parekh
Chernyshov
Yakemchuck
Levshunov
Silayev
This is the Habs board...we do get offended fairly easily....Your preferences here shouldn't offend anyone.
I'd like to talk with the person who thinks they can prove you wrong.
That is an impressive list no matter how things play out after Celebrini.
Dickinson is not a a guaranteed no. 1 d-man and Eiserman has top line potential. Also, FWIW, the Habs braintrust know Eiserman well as he's from Boston (Bobrov still lives there too).If Hughes takes Eiseman over Dickenson I'd say he's being dipping into the battery acid. Who's going to pass on #1 defenseman for second line forward because of need?
