Tonight, we find out who will be lucky enough to walk away with Celebrini

I don't expect Hawks to have luck they did last year. My only hope is that they dont fall which I fear

If they stay at #2 Demidov should be pick

If they fall to #3 then I probably listen to trade offers but ultimately take Levshunov

If they fall to #4,, Honestly a few guys could go there but none are as good as the top 3 guys
I thought the draft lottery was on 5/7?

Personally? I'm Demidov at 2 now. I've seen enough of the MHL playoffs and am comfortable rolling the dice on the talent.

If its 3 or 4? I'm looking at Buium/Catton.

If Hawks are at #3 and they dont want to draft Levshunov they should look to trade down to team that wants Levshunov

Taking Buium at #3 or #4 is a reach

I wouldn't quantify lots of players at 3 or 4 a reach. There is a group of like 7 players you could take at 3.

Played really well at the U20s as 18.1 month old. Won gold. Over PPG in D0 in the NCAA. Won National Title. Played extremely well in the FF. Not sure how you could call him a reach lol.

So Top 10 is 5 D, and 5 Forwards, then the next 5 are 1 D and 4 forwards.

Top 10 is probably

Celebrini
Demidov
Eiserman
Catton
Lindstrom

Levshunov
Buium
Parekh
Silayev
Dickinson

Next 5

Iginla
Sennecke
Helenius
Hage
Yakemchuk

No order just player guessing.

Sounds about right, I don't expect any big surprises. The "lists" seem to be stabilizing at this point.

I'm ok with lev, then trading up to get sennecke or taking one of the other tier 2/3 wingers. I'm actually coming around to the idea of trading seth for marner.

Requires both players to waive. In Marner's case, he'd be waiving to likely get flipped and then possibly signing somewhere else even later, so potentially three teams in about a year. Not happening imo. Marner's only waiving to a team giving a fat extension and I don't really want that to be the case.

Scouts still really like Silayev. Biggest disconnect between the McKenzie List and everyone's else's list. Big mobile defenseman, but we really don't need another LD especially if not a PP QB.
