You think a guy who has 69 points in 39 games as a freshman who was considered a long-term project going into the draft is comparable to Galchenyuk?
 
Is there a reason they're taking the entire week off before the semis?

Galchenyuk was a very talented player like Smith…. Smiths demeanor in the games I’ve watched is similar to Alex. Both were very advanced offensively at the same stage, but they have that same lazy play, pouty demeanor. They are pretty similar in that both aren’t dynamic skaters and also might not be good enough defensively to stay at center… but that’s the same problem Zegras is having.

Smith has had like 3 bad games since the WJC quarter finals. Don't know if those 3 games just happen to be the majority of your viewings, but he is extremely good at predicting the flow of the game and generating points off turnovers.

No they don't. In basketball, they play the semis the following Saturday. These guys don't play until a week from Thursday.
 
Trying to want to like Levshunov but he is leaving me wanting more.

Haven’t noticed Mcgroarty, I would think he would be the top player, but Nazar might be the best player in this game. Michigan looks like their talent is too much for MSU to handle.

Too bad we passed on brindly he looks legit

Dylan Duke has been impressive

Zeev buium… I think he has a legit argument for top 5

Also supposedly a chance his brother won’t sign with redwings… I’d consider moving moore or something for him…. If we feel moore won’t be signing here

Buium is my pick as well. Got the same feeling I did watching Leo’s draft highlights the year before in just having a well-rounded, pro-style game. Always has his head up, makes smart plays, and uses body effectively when needed, kind of like how Lindholm played. He’s not the flashiest, biggest, most offensively gifted defenseman out there but he’s above average in those, well except size since he’s “only” 6’ and never know how much they will grow at this stage. Yes, I know it can be detrimental to draft a “safe” pick, but with defenseman, that’s not the worst thing.

Interesting idea but they both shoot left-handed. Unless one of them can play the off side, it would create a real logjam on LHD for the foreseeable future. Not to mention losing an RHD in Moore (assuming he signs).

How about Gibson + Tracey for Husso + Buium?

The team plays harder for Dostal... I don't care for the return anymore...At least with Husso, we get out of the contract a year earlier and save a bit of money...

IMO Gibson currently has zero value and will have to rehabilitate his worth with better numbers next year (a familiar story). Tracey has zero value as well.

Pretty much this , gibson looks like he’s just bad at this point
 
Denver and BU are battling in OT right now. The Michigan-BC game will apparently begin an hour after this game ends, so Gauthier's game will start later than it was scheduled to.

I’m okay with it, this has been a great game

The bu goalie has had some amazing saves
