Hard for me to believe that Gabe Perreault came out of the same womb as Jacob. His game has so much more compete level to it

Haven’t been impressed with Smith at all in this game. Execution hasn’t been there
Glad Smith plays for the Sharks. Seems to be a pouty player who makes dumb fancy passes and dives alot. I thought he was supposed to be more poised and a better skater. I don’t see him being more than a 2nd line center as best and I feel like his profile might struggle establishing himself. Maybe the Sharks should have gone with Michkov.
That's premature. There's some good tools there. Some holes too but he has time to work on them.
Cutter definitely has impressive skating and shooting but really wished he had more off puck impact and more intensity like Leonard… he would really be complete if he did…

I’ve only watched a few games but he is very frustrating to watch. When things are going good he shows a good shot and playmaking, decent skating… but his effort and demeanor/body language is questionable. I’m trying to look up top 10 picks and can only find Galyenchuk as a comparable.
Yeah I mean the way Leonard plays right now, he'd turn the puck over a lot against NHL defenses.
I'll take the guy that surveys and looks for the right play who can rip the puck when he needs to.
I would agree that his hockey IQ isn't comparable to guys like Bedard, Michkov, and Carlsson which was the common line going into draft day but I think he's got good skill and a good eye for jumping on scoring chances when they're there. As for creating them himself, it tends to happen when defenses get sleepy. So I think you're being a bit harsh but you're not totally off base.
Perreault I'm seeing why 22 guys were picked before him.
Man is Quinlan the top faceoff guy or is BU that terrible? Would be nice if we signed at least one coveted college or EURO UFA this year. We need a top FO man.
I don't know but without looking at the stats it feels like Cutter is getting killed in the dots.

Absolutely…. Smart and creative with some good puck skills but well below average skater and feet… even worst than his brother…
And I thought he was playing better than Fowler until that play…
