NASCAR: 2024 NASCAR (schedule in OP)

20-Nemechek changes engines post tech; will start at the back; 1-Mayer tops practice;

Stage 1: (20);16-Van Gisbergen;

Stage 2: (25/45);60-Hand;

Stage 3: (13/58); 48-Bowman;

5-Larson set track record in practice; race delayed 1 hr 42 minutes in stage 2 (weather) 4th week in succession; turned to timed race at 9:20 shortening event by 17 laps

AM Racing (XFINITY/15) and Hailie Deegan mutually terminate contract after 17 races; team has not said what their plans are or who will finish the 2024 season AS WE HEAD to Pocono; Josh Berry returning to XFINITY for Pocono after announcing switch to WBR in 2025;

AM Racing will finish 2024 w/ assorted Cup drivers.... however, the rule barring Cup drivers from competing in XFINITY Series playoffs might prove to be a challenge
 
Factor 46 Racing shut down.... Thad Moffitt joining Young's Motorsports for balance of CTS Season; just a different ownership;

Front Row Motorsports announces a 1 pm presser Wednesday to name a replacement for Michael McDowell for 2025 or their 3rd team... likely will be Noah Gragson coming from SHR/10....
