The only thing that makes logical sense to me is Conor doesn't really want to come back and is just keeping himself relevant, and Dana keeps it to himself so as not to bury a cash cow. I don't buy the notion from his side that the UFC is delaying things. I don't think he's ducking Chandler, I just think there's a very real chance we don't see him again. At least not in like traditional competitive UFC action. Maybe something like boxing Nate or whatever.

HW is so barren not surprised they're fast tracking the guy who actually seems like he could be something. Buday on a 4 fight win streak was already a pretty tough debut fight so seems like this was always the plan. Wonder if they will do the same with Diniz and Despaigne if they can get big wins in their debuts over the next couple months

Just looking at the HWs who have debuted since Jailton Almeida in early 2022, it's such a barren list. Either trash that's mostly losing all their fights or boring decision guys whose wins leave a lot to be desired like Waldo Cortes Acosta, Mick Parkin, Jamal Pogues, etc with Gaziev being like the one exception

Luke Thomas did a video on how Conor's prime is over. Kind of long winded for a point that we already know.

But at the end, he mentioned that the UFC may be holding off on having Conor fight as a bargaining chip for their TV deal which is up at the end of 2024. That's the best explanation that I've heard.

Excellent news thank you. I'm like 99% out on the AC card it just isn't interesting and I gotta be up early to do the Easter egg hunt thing with the kids.. unless they pull a monster main event out of nowhere.

Now I'll spend the next 3 months trying to figure out what the main event will be there .

I, for one, would absolutely love a behind the scenes documentary on the making of UFC 300.

Unfortunately, it will never happen because then they'd probably lose their lawsuit Or it would be so edited that you wouldn't get the real story and only the story the UFC wanted you to see.

Out of those two options it has to be Izzy. He is cringe, but he is one of the bigger stars currently. And there is a history between him and DDP, which would make a good build up. I know Edwards and Belal fought before, but the build up would be underwhelming between those two.

If the UFC had a choice, sure. But there could be a hold up on that as well.

One of those situations where you get mad at a business or customer service and they offer you exactly what you want but you're not done being mad so you gotta try and say "It's not even about that I don't even want that anymore".

0.0% he can get a visa to fight in the US, especially without Dana’s pal in office

He’s going to be an international card-only type of guy for at least the immediate future. All depends on the sanctions on Kadyrov and what happens to those.

It was in an interview. I don't know if there's video of it, but he was quoted in the article. I know MMA is not the most reputable, but I don't think they'd just flat out quote a dude incorrectly

My guess would be that he said it out of frustration and then the UFC was like "Bro, what the f***? You can't even fight in the USA and you're trying to make us look like the bad guys?" and Chimaev's camp was like "You're right, our bad. We'll take the fall and use Ramadan as the excuse."
