Just spitballing based on Dana's comments, but you're right that it's not practical. He kind of implied it would come out of left field, but maybe I'm overthinking. My only reason for mentioning Colby at all is that he's not really in the title picture at 170 anymore, and has always teased dropping to 155 ( or maybe some catch weight/165 title?). I know 300 will sell PPV's regardless, but I assume they still want a big draw atop the card.

Nunes /Cyborg wouldn't shock me, that's a good guess.

There are no heavyweights on the card either. On one hand, I'm not sure if they'd do an interim bout as main event, but Aspinall seems to be available. Do they get creative with that somehow?

At the end of the day I'm perfectly fine with Belal vs Edwards, just doesn't seem consistent with the teases I've seen.
The only thing at HW I could think of is Aspinall-Stipe, which they seem to have ruled out, or Aspinall-Pereira, but IF Pereira ever moves to HW to attempt becoming a 3 division champ, I think he'd take some time to put on some more weight.

Aspinall vs. Gane?

Although I don't think Gane deserves another shot just yet even if it is just the interim.

It's been touched upon but adding Edwards-Belal to this card would be a complete waste. I'm not sure you'd get more than a few more buys, whereas it could really help a thin upcoming card. Depth is absolutely no issue on this one. You could argue it's deeper than UFC100/200.

Cyborg-Nunes fits the "you didn't see it coming" idea, but it just doesn't have the same appeal as it did the first time around. Needless to say neither does Izzy-Pereira 5.

Colby is a complete afterthought now. Bad look to try to sell any story involving him after his last performance.

Conor-Chandler for a 165 strap is definitely something I could see them doing.

200 really suffered because of injuries. On paper it originally looked good pre-injuries. But the actual event was quite the letdown.

Really!?! I don't see anything, but that would be pretty awesome.

Good on Pereira, too. Dude fought at MW less than a year ago and now might fight at HW

You'd have to think the main path to victory for Alex would be being quick enough to avoid the knockout power coming his way and trying to use his sneaky good leg kicks to disable Tom early since he's had leg surgery and all. Idk, pretty damn tough needle to thread if it somehow happened.

I don't know what's going on with Conor-Chandler, but if this is by design to build anticipation or something, it's having the opposite effect for me. With each day that passes, I don't care about it just a little bit more.

I feel at this stage Conor is just trolling Chandler. Chandler has waited this long for a fight with McGregor so he's not going give up waiting now. Watch Conor fight someone like Nate instead. If he even fights again.

I think it would be a very bad look for Conor to not fight Chandler at this point. It would be blatantly ducking him.

Like maybe if he got a title shot or something it would be OK, but giving Conor a title shot is an even bigger issue
