EHT results are completely ignored in men's hockey. Curious why you place such a high weight on them in women's hockey?

The women don't have similar differences in player availability, of that EHT team the Czechs have 17 players in the current squad and the Finns 20. With few exceptions it's the same girls going against one another each time.

Last year in men's hockey the corresponding game had 7 and 5 players make the World Championship rosters respectively.

Can someone explain to me why Rattray is always Canada's thirteenth forward?

To me, she's clearly more skilled than some of the players taking a regular shift...

Canada up 2-0 against Switzerland in the third. It's been all Canada but the Swiss goalie Braendli has been excellent.

Czechs looking good so far... drew a penalty (could've been a penatly shot IMO) and then a wide open shot on the PP that the Czech lady sailed to the moon.

Traditionally these games are usually 3-0 by now so I'm happy.

Not expecting any miracles and a Czech loss but it's nice to see us looking competitive. I imagine US have much more depth and as the game progresses they will slowly take over.

I think it'll be a 2 team race for awhile longer... Hope I'm wrong of course. PWHL may help some other nations.

US PP coming up.. guarantee they score after we failed to on 5.

Score is nice but we've had 5 powerplays to 0. US must be very happy to have a lead. Czechs do have skill players now.. really surprised the PP was this bad.

US absolutely dominating in the final minutes of 2nd... some great hcokey from them. I can't see Czechs scoring 4. I think they're thrileld it is only 3-0. US ladies are fun to watch to be honest.

My only grip is that we didn't score on any of the first 5 PP's and that is something to work on. I thought we looked good but US are fantastic. Well deserved win!

I think you might be able to beat Canada, I think the U.S women are the tops now but our girls are maybe ripe for plucking here and there.
