Wes Clark probably had another big reach as his BPA and Brad Treliving said nope not happening at 23
Agreed. I like the idea of getting a 2nd round next year since Dubas already pissed away those early picks. We moved back 8 slots, they moved back 14, so that explains the extra pick they got for next year. Both trades seem solid.
This is something a budget sunbelt scouting staff says, the highest paid staff in the league saying this is comical.
The trade was just about on the nose to historical tradesI think the return on their first was a tad bit light (would like liked another 4th maybe - in this year or next), but not much to cry over. They need picks. Getting an additional 2nd is helpful for a team that had 3 picks last year.
That Avs trade was way better than the one the Leafs did LOL
It just wreaks of the Shanahan and company continuing to think they're simply smarter than the rest of the league's management. They can build a team salary structure that nobody else employs and win with it and they can use their super secret draft strategy and win with it... Yet we're still waiting on tangible results...I really dislike the Leafs strategy of moving back every. single. year. I wish just once they'd target someone higher and move up to get their guy instead of trying to be smarter than everyone else and picking the scraps from other teams.
Nope. The long-term project LetourneauBoston gonna pick Sam O'Reilly. Which will really suck
Starting to look at Guys like Badinka and Emery with the 31st. Even Letourneau I'd like. Just hope it's a D or C.
And a 2nd next yearIt wasn't... it was a 71st pick for 7 extra spots... seems sisimilar
What are your NHL projections for these 2 players? Seems suspect to say its a "miss" right now.Imagine missing on Beaudoin and Solberg lol
