Probably the A’s. They had a whole rotation of rookies one year. Not being forced to use Skubal today certainly helps. But I have zero expectations here.
It was stated during one of the Tigers games last week that they have the most rookies on a roster to ever reach the playoffs in the Wild Card era.
No clue which team holds that record outside of them.
Verlander came back way too soon from his neck injury. It's possible we might see him from the BP at some point though.....Maybe.Skubal, home field (sometimes Astros suck at home),Alvarez health scares me. Hopefully Astros still take it. Return of Hinch and Espada knowing him and still being friends with him is a interesting story line. Too bad Verlander is struggling lately. He won't or at least shouldn't see any action in this series unless they try him out as a relief pitcher? Him facing his old team would have been fun.
