How about the Demigorgon?
How about the Demigorgon?
Much to the disappointment of Montreal fans, Kent Hughes announced that SKA St. Petersburg forward Ivan Demidov will not be able to join the Montreal Canadiens this season due to his current KHL contract.
How good is his brother, seems to be best point producer in VHL.
BAN!
Rotenberg may be a master BS artist but he has a lot of personality. Hughes seemed uncomfortable and Bobrov wanted to bail ASAP. Vinnie was refreshingly honest. Rotenberg must have extracted some sort of “commitment” from the Habs in exchange for more TOI for our boy, and I don’t mean money.
Watch it, it’s actually pretty entertaining, in a weird way. Their rink also puts the Bell Centre to shame.I've been putting off watching that video because the cringe potential is well beyond my limit.
No surprise....................talk about something to look forward to in September!!!!
The kid looks like the real deal.
Demote the best player on the team to shake up the lines. Such a Rotten thing to do!Sounds like Demidov is off the top line for tomorrow's game as they will look to shake up the lineup after getting their ass kicked last game. SKA now sits 6th in their conference, 1 pt up from 7th (8 make the playoffs but they are a lock to make them as they are 12 pts up with a gm in hand on the 9th placed team). They are facing Makar Khanin's team but I don't know if he will play as he did just get more ice time in one game then he's had in his entire KHL career combined but then the next game he was back in juniors.
It'll be PP2 to start , similarly to how Hutson started this yearDoesn't matter. He'll be playing 16-18 minutes a night next year, PP1 out of training camp, with lots of leash. I'm past caring what Rotenberg does anymore.
I think the only 2 lock for pp1 are Hutson (the pp qb) and Suzuki (proven ppg ish guy and he is the center). After that Laine with his shot is a pp machine so i dont see them removing him from there. So if Demidov get pp1 time it will be over Slaf or Caufield. Slaf might have less pure talent but he is a 6"3 that can park his a** in front of the net so hard decision. It'll be PP2 to start , similarly to how Hutson started this year
Just to be "respectful" lol
But we all know.. that won't last too long thankfully
The real issue, and it's underrated going to be an interesting problem once we need to cross this bridge is
Who gets kicked off PP1 lol..
I want the top two lines to stay together on their respective pp units, but I know that's not popular opinion. I imagine PP1 will settle on something like Suzuki, Laine, Demidov, Hutson and Slaf/Caufield.I think the only 2 lock for pp1 are Hutson (the pp qb) and Suzuki (proven ppg ish guy and he is the center).
