imagine if they could draft one of the top 3 studs this year to go with Demidov. Just need to fix this blueline and things are looking up. Well blueline, goaltending and for sure one more coach....

After the two points today, he'd be tied for 9th on here with Tarasenko. Passing Kaprizov's totals is attainable should he stay healthy and his coach actually lets him play.

The day demidov joins the team is the day we will finally have two potent scoring lines. Our offense will finally expand beyond Suzuki and Caufield. Slafkovsky and Dach are great complementary players, but they can't stir the drink.
Sorry, but I would take Slafkovsky before Caufield any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

7-game point streak. He has 11 pts (2G, 9A) in those 7 games. Now on pace for 59 pts (19G, 40A) in 68 GP.

He moved his way up to being 2nd in scoring on the team, behind only Gritsyuk, who is also young at 23, but playing in his 4th KHL season.

If Rotenberg wasn't being dumb and playing Demidov under 4-5 minutes or benching him for a handful of games, he'd most likely be top scorer.

But at least he's a better person now.
That's what's most important.

I feel like it’s easier for Russians who come in at 19-21, don’t have the data handy though
For sure it helps that they usually come in a bit later but even then it's often close but no cigar
Panarin had 77 in 80 at age 24
Kaprizov had 51 in 55 at age 23
Kucherov had 18 in 52 at age 20

So it just seems unlikely for Demidov to break the mold and actually hit PPG, but he very much could come in and be very close. And it's worth noting that even if he doesn't come in and be a stud offensively it just doesn't mean much either.

I'm fairly certain he'd be our best player right now. If not he'd be right there already, what a beast.
