Or they offered him an extention and he refused.Did the reduce ice time coincide with Laine's injury? Maybe SKA feels like the Habs would be more willing now to pay for Demidov to be released from his contract? If SKA does not play him, that's even more pressure on Habs management to do something. Kind of weird to go ~15 min a game suddenly to ~5 min.
I wonder what's going on behind the scene.
I was just going to write the same thing before I read your post. Laine was injured Sept. 28, and while Demidov was only playing about 12-14 minutes a game before then, his TOI was reduced significantly starting in his game on Sept. 29 and has only gotten worse since then. I smell a rat.Did the reduce ice time coincide with Laine's injury? Maybe SKA feels like the Habs would be more willing now to pay for Demidov to be released from his contract? Or both.Or they offered him an extention and he refused.
It's a bit concerning that Demidov have less TOI then goons in the 80's

What proof that it was just Habs fan? The way russian sport media ask Roman about Demidov after every game would point at Russians being on the loop.Sometimes we're cringe
sometimes we're based
sometimes we're both
it's all fascinating to me
Does this mean Demidov will go back to playing more minutes or is he still going to be glued to the bench and barely play?
Since Rotenberg is annoyed that people would ask why his 2nd best scorer, with the least amount of TOI per game, is not playing more.. I'd expect him to be scratched tomorrow.
"It doesn't matter what your last name is."
Traktor just trolled Rotenberg. It says "Why is no one congratulating us on our fifth win in a row? Discrimination!" Its an inside joke based on an earlier Rotenberg comment. lololol
Why don't they just pay the Russian mob their money and bring the kid over? He's better off here where he can get playing time.
There is, it’s probably ridiculous.I fail to believe there isn’t a price point for Habs to have Demigod released from his contract…
