If he doesn’t “see any flashes” either it’s just another sign he either doesn’t watch or doesn’t know what he is watching. Even a casual twitter viewing of him shows a lot of flashes.

Alright, I'm bored of the dude's overuse of "elite" and "I'm not seeing it".

You came in talking about what your friend said and you phrasing your own knowledge of how he's doing as "I didn't know...." so I dunno what shifted to you having a strong independent opinion about his lack of sufficiently Cale Makar level elite traits worthy of a number 2 pick in the abstract.

So Dmen either have to be Makar or they are full of question marks lmao ok
I am saying a player picked #2 Overall in the entire draft should have at a minimum top level pairing skills. If anyone has a highlight reel play of Lev please feel free to post it.....He has played 50 games he should at least have shown something is very high skilled....

I guess we have different levels of expectactions for a #2 overall pick. I saw Cale Makar play and he jumped off the page with his skillset. Makar went #4 overall. Makar stood out and looked dominant. I dont see any of those flashes from Lev at this point.
Makar was 5'10" and playing in the AJHL and still went top 5. If he was 6'2" and coming off a point per game season in the Big Ten while showing his elite traits it's fair to say he wouldn't have made it to #4.

Regardless, Levshunov can be half of Makar and he will still be an extremely valuable player

He's dropping main board piss takes. Just like saying Chicago isn't a good place for Knight. This is the type of nonsense the rest of this site is.

A bottom 6 NHL player isn't a bust. He is still a serviceable NHL player. A bust is Nail Yakupov.

Still waiting for a highlight reel of Lev this season.... Go watch his highlight package from last year and it's not that impressive. More luck scoring than skill and some awful goaltending.

Why is it you think it’s on the forum to find you highlights, when you are the one with the shit takes about his bottom pairing at best potential and having no elite skills or flashes of them?

How about you go find some highlights, which have been posted here periodically for months, and then if you want you can still come back with your shit takes?

It’s pretty clear nothing is going to change your mind anyway.

Why don't you do your own homework. FloHockey posted a compilation an hour ago. Various twitter accounts have clipped plays all season. Your takes are getting borderline bad faith now when you say "at best" he's barely making a roster and then try and defend yourself and say that doesn't mean he's a bust.

Go wander into the Habs forum and say you think Demidov is "at best" a 4th liner, and then say his video clips are "not that impressive" and mostly "luck scoring" and "awful goaltending", that's the energy you've brought here. Make sure to start with "I was talking to my buddy in St. Petersburg and he said Demidov is a matchup nightmare.... a nightmare for his own team trying to hide him he meant"

Bottom 6 NHL player? Dude isn't a forward.

If you say a defender is a 'bottom at best' defenseman, you're alluding to him being a 3rd pair guy at best. There are only 6 defenders in a given game, being bottom 6 in that context makes no logistical sense.

Your posts are all sorts of wrong and makes me question your knowledge of the game.

Who the hell regularly visits FloHockey?

If your comparison is against Makar you are starting with a deeply flawed perspective. Makar is probably the best drafted dman since Pronger. Where he was drafted is sunk cost and completely irrelevant at this point.

Bottom 6 or 3rd pairing. Better? Hopefully he becomes a stud. Time will tell.

My comparison is with other highly picked defenseman....Makar, Powers, Sanderson, etc.
