Loll thier minority owner is the richest man in canada and 4th richest owner of any sports team. Mark chipman is pretty well off himself... doubt they to worried about revenue... jets got decent deal with tv networks and chipman generates enough wealth from other ventures.. doubt they to worried about being at the cap ceiling lol . Propaganda will tell u jets are Cap floor team or that they might leave..Some outsider, calling posters kids, that starts sentences with u. That's funny. What do you think you know about the Jets? Can't even spell the players names...this is like avgard on crack.
I think the question Jets fans should be asking is where does the payroll sit next year? Jets started the year about $4 million off the Cap ceiling, which allowed them to mitigate injuries without ever dipping into LTIR, and accrue deadline Cap space.
With the Canadian dollar falling, how much are revenues affected? Playoffs are great for revenue but the revenues aren't exclusively earned by the team. The Whiteout Parties I imagine go straight into True North's pockets.
They in the hands of two very wealthy owners... Thompson might own a smaller stake in the jets but he one of the richest men in the world... he ain't worried about the Jets being profitable this a hobby for him
I might not care for or be aware of all the bs hockey analytics.. but sometimes I just need to swing by here and give u guys lil reality check.. the media and seed oils got ppl going lil haywire.. jets need to worry about being at the cap ceiling ha ignorant Canadians they in wealthy hands they not even sweating this... jets will be around forever.. I think they will expand or tear down that arena soon and rebuild one that can accommodate more seats so can have cheaper options in the rafters for the brokeys.... u think chipman investing billions into the dt to sell the team ha
And if worst case canada economy completely collapses and country succeeds to states..(not out of the realms of possibility) atleast u won't have to worry about exchange rates anymore
