Wonder if Vilardi would want to stay here. Didn't he love LA and his gf was from there?

I somehow got onto Jets Wives/Girlfriends TikTok (probably through clicking on the Sambergs' dance clip), and Vilardi's GF comes up a lot. It's mostly "what I'm wearing to my boyfriend's hockey game" stuff but there is semi frequent "winter really sucks" stuff.

Ok, but, his contract is not up right away couples break up. Where’s Ianana/stumbs when you need them?

I think Vilardi stays. He is getting the usage he has only ever dreamed about. Playing on one of the best lines in the NHL and #1 PP time. If the guy loves hockey as much as it looks he does it will never get better than that for him.

I hope so, but, truthfully as we all know the ideal hockey situation isn’t enough if the player’s family wants out. Work can never be your everything. Right now he is proving himself so he will have a few choices.

Jets also have 2 more years of team control so he has limited options at this point. Offer him the big deal he has earned and I think he stays.

Agreed - iirc he came into town having Perfetti ish usage in LA and was immediately annointed as 1st line RW with top PP time here, no guarantee he gets that opportunity elsewhere. I imagine the Jets org have earned some goodwill from him because of that
