GDT: 2024-25 season game 69 LA Kings vs Boston Bruins @6:00pm 3/23/25

Just tuning in 14 goals in 2 games!!! Another dry spell incoming? LOL. Hoping Turcs score a point will be the second time in two days that every forward has scored a point. Before that it was back in 1988 that it's happened I believed.

These GDTs would be a lot more interesting if y'all stopped sounding like a bunch of 14 year old girls doing their best Aubrey Plaza impressions.

It reads like nobody here actually sees what's going on and just wants to hide beneath their sarcasm hoodies hoping their tampons can handle their flow.
It's not like what Bandit said was wrong though. The Kings had years of mediocrity and half-assed rebuilds.

Now the Kings are doing more of what we were calling for, with younger players playing as bigger pieces and not overly relying on the eldest players. And they're winning.

Kuemper, the team's biggest question mark, has shown his stability in net.

Edit: I will add that this team is very good and I like the season. I'm just cautiously optimistic until we see how they do in the playoffs.

Kings look real good. Getting hot and staying hot is important at this point in the year. You cant win every game but just make sure there are no stinkers that can spiral into low confidence.

I never had a doubt about Kuemper. To back that up, if you backtrack to any comments regarding that trade I was positive of Kuemper coming here.

Kuzmenko plays the exact same style of game as Williams. Same plays made from the same spots on the ice. His goal tonight was the prototypical Williams snipe. Obviously Williams is a legendary competitor, that's not the comparison- but look at where he goes. He is opening up areas of the ice that compliment Kopitar's style so well.

I too noticed the offensive zone smarts on his goal tonight, hanging back just a split second and finding a soft spot, that is just something that is tough to teach. Lets be honest if that's Turcotte he is putting his head down and making a bee line to the front of the net as soon as Kempe gets control behind the net. Just little things like that make a big difference in overall production.

Beauty of a win even though we were all robbed of a kino goalie fight. Either way it made up for missing yesterday's game. Probably for the best Kuemper didn't fight Swayman cuz with our luck he'd injure his hand or something....

I wonder what Boston is going to do this offseason and what happens with Pasta. It's weird to see Boston at a level like this, they have been contenders or on the fringe of contending for the better part of 15 years, but that looks like a roster that needs to be torn down to the studs.
The UFA market is so bad this year; just sell Pasta in the Summer.
