GDT: 2024-25 season game 69 LA Kings vs Boston Bruins @6:00pm 3/23/25

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Not like the bar is high.
These GDTs would be a lot more interesting if y'all stopped sounding like a bunch of 14 year old girls doing their best Aubrey Plaza impressions.

It reads like nobody here actually sees what's going on and just wants to hide beneath their sarcasm hoodies hoping their tampons can handle their flow.

Kuzmenko really was exactly what the Kings needed, the teams biggest weakness by far was at 1LW and it's been fixed. Kopitar and Kempe are good enough defensively where you can have someone who sucks defensively as the third guy, it's not the end of the world.

Kopitar's play has done a 180 for sure since the trade, but Kempe wasn't exactly killing it either offensively (6 points in 15 games leading up to the trade), now has 3+8 in not even 9 full games with Kuzmenko.

This is looking like it could be a really nice find for Blake, a classic Dave Taylor dumpster-dive that might actually work.
Kuzmenko plays the exact same style of game as Williams. Same plays made from the same spots on the ice. His goal tonight was the prototypical Williams snipe. Obviously Williams is a legendary competitor, that's not the comparison- but look at where he goes. He is opening up areas of the ice that compliment Kopitar's style so well.
